Day 1: Arrival in Venice

  • Evening: Mantua Welcome Dinner Party

  • Afternoon: Mantua, Mincio River Excursion

    A unique opportunity to sail through reeds, water lily spread in the myriad of channels and waterways crossing the wide expanse of water; admire the rarest birds and follow the sunset from the water, with the far away outline of the town of Mantua, among the lotus flowers.

Day 2: Mantua

  • Morning: Guided Tour of the Ducal Palace and Historic Centre

  • Afternoon: Mantua at Leisure.

    Steeped in an ancient and glorious history, Mantua is one of the most suggestive cities in Lombardy. Founded by the Etruscans around the 6th Century B.C., it is the birth place of Virgil whose verses celebrated its beauty.

Day 3: Brescia and Franciacorta Wine Road

  • Morning: Brescia Castle Guided Tour

    It is a true fortified citadel with towers, bulwarks, buildings, courtyards, drawbridges and cellars that can be visited and that house the Museum of Ancient Weapons and the Museo del Risorgimento.

  • Afternoon: Franciacorta Wine Road Guided Tour

    Guided visit of a wine cellar and tasting of a chalice of Franciacorta DOCG and different snacks. Nature has over thousands of years sculpted this ancient land, creating a breathtakingly varied landscape awash with color.

Day 4: Brianza Region

  • Morning: Brianza Region Guided Tour

    Today we will explore Brianza countryside by visiting several villages and historical Villas. A professional local tour guide will accompany us for the morning.
     

  • Afternoon: At Leisure

Day 5: Lake Como

~ breakfast ~ dinner ~

  • Morning: Como to Bellagio Boat Tour

    During the cruise the guide will show you the most interesting spots and Villas. Between Como and Bellagio, we will find Villa Pliniana, Villa Erba, Villa D’Este, Villa Pizzo, Villa Fontanelle, Villa Rosa, Villa Passalacqua and Villa Hocevar. We stop for lunch in Bellagio, the "Pearl of Lake Como".

     

  • Afternoon: Como at Leisure

    Walking along the narrow streets of the Medieval town you can reach Porta Torre and its walls.
    Promenade along the lake to Villa Olmo (once summer residence of the Visconti Family) to admire the neoclassic villas on the lake shore and Volta Museum.

Day 6: Lake Maggiore

  • Morning: Rocca Borromeo Tour

    The Castle or Rocca Borromeo of Angera, an unusual example of a completely preserved medieval fortified building, rises on a spur of calcareous rock that dominates the southern part of Lake Maggiore. The Castle houses 2 museums that bear important witness to local history.

  • Afternoon: Stresa at Leisure

    The afternoon is at leisure to explore Lake Maggiore independently. Isola Bella and Isola Grande are popular lake destinations. They are easily reached  from Stresa by a short boat ride.

Day 7: Milan

  • Morning: Guided Tour

    We visit the Cathedral, Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, The Scala Opera House and its square, the Sforza Castle and the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci.
     

  • Afternoon: At Leisure

    The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Milan independently.

     

  • Evening: Farewell Dinner Party

Day 8:

  • Transfer to Milan
