of Grinzane Cavour
Visit
to the
Castle of Grinzane Cavour, the majestic manor
which belonged to the famous statesman Camillo Benso.
The Piemont wine cellar of Cavour is located
inside the majestic Castle.
The cellar has gained a
well-deserved reputation as an excellent show-case
for regional wine and grappa.

visit to the fortress of Serralunga; one of the most
beautiful castles in the province of Cuneo because
of its imposing architectonic style.

Itinerary
Ovada is the focal point of a
circular itinerary
linking the villages of Molare, Cremolino, Prasco,
Morsasco, Trisobbio, and Orsara Bormida.
This area is filled with Castles
and other medieval structures.

Visit to a local winery.
We will pass through the villages
of Montaldo Bormida, Carpeneto, Roccagrimanda,
Tagliolo Monferrato and Belforte Monferrato.
Strevi is a
municipality with a strongly committed to making
wine and is famous for a historical type of Muscatel
wine.

The Citadel was built in the ex-district of
Borgoglio, after the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713, when
Alessandria passed from the dominion of Spain to the
