Millions of people make the pilgrimage to Venice every year...and for good reason: it's a truly astounding place.  But, beyond Venice is the Region of the Veneto, one of the most interesting and beautiful regions in Italy.  The Veneto has a number of cities chock a block full of artistic and architectural treasures, but it is also a fertile agricultural Region that produces an immense array of food stuffs and more wine than any other region in Italy - and so its varied landscape is dotted with farms and undulating vineyards.  And then there's Lago do Garda...whose long finger penetrates the Italian Alps.  The Veneto has it all...

Day 1: Arrival in Venice

 ~ dinner ~

  • Afternoon: Vicenza Guided Tour

Vicenza lies in the green Venetian lowlands, surrounded by the Berici Hills, at the confluence of the River Retrone and the River Bacchiglione. The town of Vicenza is known all over the world as "the town of Palladio".

  • Morning: Verona Guided Tour.

The second city of art in the region, Verona displays its artistic, cultural, and natural treasures with pride.
Its palaces, bridges, churches, and squares accompany the visitor in an amazing journey.

  • Afternoon: At Leisure.

Verona offers a lot to see and do.

Day 3: Lake Garda

~ breakfast ~ dinner ~

  • Morning: Malcesine Castle Tour

Malcesine is a town with two faces: one historical, with the Della Scala castle, palaces and small churches; the other naturalistic, wonderfully represented by the enchanting landscape of Mount Baldo with its numberless flower species that earned it the title of "Garden of Europe".

  • Afternoon: Limone by boat

The name for the village comes from the latin word "Limen", which means border. Small steps leading to tiny squares from where narrow streets leads you through the ancient part of Limone, passing houses, shops and the inhabitants of this marvelous little village.
