Millions of people make the pilgrimage to Venice every year...and for good reason: it's a truly astounding place. But, beyond Venice is the Region of the Veneto, one of the most interesting and beautiful regions in Italy. The Veneto has a number of cities chock a block full of artistic and architectural treasures, but it is also a fertile agricultural Region that produces an immense array of food stuffs and more wine than any other region in Italy - and so its varied landscape is dotted with farms and undulating vineyards. And then there's Lago do Garda...whose long finger penetrates the Italian Alps. The Veneto has it all... |

earned it the title of "Garden of Europe".
