From Varenna, you can explore the picturesque towns along the lake as well as skiing destinations such as Valtellina, St. Moritz, Livigno and Bormio which are north of Sondrio or alternatively, Chiavenna and Madesimo (directly north from the top of the lake).

Apartment Alvise is two apartment units that can be separated by a connecting door; one is a studio apartment, the other a one bedroom (with king bed) apartment. The living area in both apartments has a high quality sofa bed. Each apartment has a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen (one can be screened off if not needed), a dining areas, and a shower bathroom.
