The hotel has 50 stand-alone circular bungalows, each uniquely decorated. The terracotta floor tiling and shuttered windows create a cozy atmosphere in the colder months, and a cool hideway at the height of summer. All face towards the sea through a line of breezy palm trees and flower gardens.
The hotel boasts a justifiably famous restaurant, the Re Artu, where guests can feast on a wide-range of Sicilian and International dishes while gazing out across the Mediterranean. Adjacent to the beach one also finds a pizzeria, grill and snack bar.
Guests can relax on the beach, swim, snorkle or rent motor boats, canoes and peddle-boats for excursions out into the water. Or, if you'd like to visit Taormina itself, there is a cable car that will take you to the city just a 5 minute walk away.
The coastal railway runs behind the hotel, but creates minimal inconvenience and disruption.
