This tour is an excellent option for those without a vehicle in Florence who want to see some of Northern Tuscany's famous cities without the hassle of driving .  This tour begins early (9:15 AM) and ends late (7:30), so it's a full day, but a a great value for those who want a great experience in one of Italy's most famous and coveted territories. The tour begins by heading north from Florence, towards Lucca, where the day will begin with  a stroll along the famous walls of the city before entering into the historical centre where you will admire the amazing Piazza Anfiteatro, the Torre Giunigi, the Duomo di San Martino and the famous antique dealers street. Lucca is surrounded by enormous walls that are now bike paths and if the group decides, we can even permit you to take a bike ride along the walls of the city. 

After a tour of the Lucca, there will be some free time for a snack an a brief while to peruse the little shops.  After which, we will depart for the historical town of Pisa, renowned for its architectural masterpieces. Upon arrival in Pisa, you will have some free time for lunch (not included). A guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli will follow where you will see the Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and much more. You will also visit the Cathedral, which is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. You will then have some free time. Those who are interested can take a walk with our tour escort and reach Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world.

During the trip to Lucca,the assistant will provide explanations about the town and tourist attractions, though she cannot act as authorized guide in the town. In Pisa, the explanations of the tourist attractions will be rendered by an authorized guide. As places of worship will be visited, please ensure appropriate clothing is worn. The tour is confirmed with a minimum of 8 people. You are requested to contact the supplier 24 hours in advance to reconfirm the running of the tour. Please call on 055-283200 between the following hours: Monday to Saturday 8:00 -19:00 and on Sundays and National Holidays 8:00-15:00. In case the tour is not running you will be offered an alternative tour.
