This is a great opportunity
for those without a vehicle
(or not wanting to drive)
out of Florence. It's a splendid excursion through the fertile and
picturesque Tuscan countryside towards the
historic university city of Pisa, famous for its
architectural beauty. After a panoramic drive
along the beautiful riversides, the tour
proceeds with a guided tour to Piazza dei
Miracoli to find the celebrated Leaning Tower,
the Cathedral, an unequalled masterpiece of
Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and
12th centuries, the Baptistery and other
important monuments. You will then walk to
Piazza dei Cavalieri, where the Scuola Normale,
one of the most famous universities in the
world, resides.
Includes
Transportation by coach, guided visit to
Miracoli Square, stop at the Leaning Tower,
entrance to the Cathedral.
As visits to places of worship are included,
the appropriate dress should be worn. If booking
this tour between 21st October and 13th April
please call supplier 24 hours in advance to
reconfirm the running of the tour. Please call
on 055-283200 between the following hours:
Monday to Saturday 8:00 -19:00, on Sundays and
National Holidays 8:00-15:00. In case the tour
is not running you will be offered an
alternative tour. Being the supplier's office
closed on 25TH and 1ST JANUARY, the clients are
kindly requested to reconfirm the availability
of the tours by 24th and 31st December from
08:00 to 15:00.
