The tour starts from the peculiar Central market zone, characterised by its workshop and multicoloured stalls, where the Medicean Chapels, and Basilica di San Lorenzo, the church of Medici's Family, are located. In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can visit the Cathedral and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door (outside visit). Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello (outside view) and not too far, there is Piazza della Signoria with the imposing Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery (outside view), one of the most important museums in the world. By crossing Ponte Vecchio, the jewels bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace.
