Enjoy a cruise along the
Brenta river to discover a
corner of magnificence
between Venice and Padua.
Along the Canal you can
admire more than fifty
villas, once summer
residences of the Venetian
nobility. While the cruise
takes you past some really
beautiful spots, you can
appreciate the technological
value of the engineering
work carried out to create
this ship canal. Along the
way you will stop at three
of the most important
mansions. The itinerary will
be the following: departure
from Venice (Pieta' dock)
for a visit to Villa Foscari.
Proceed to Oriago and stop
for lunch (to be booked and
paid on the spot). The
cruise will continue to Mira
to visit Barchessa Valmarana
or Villa Widmann (according
to the availability).
Proceed to Stra to visit
Villa Pisani. Transfer by
coach to Padua, then proceed
to Venezia (piazzale Roma
area).
Guide/Assistant all day
disposal, cruise from Venice
to Stra, coach transfer from
Stra to Padua, coach
transfer back from Padua to
Venice (Piazzale Roma area),
entrance fee to Villa
Foscari, Barchessa Valmarana
or Villa Widmann (according
to availability) and Villa
Pisani.
At the end of the cruise, a
coach will transfer you
first to Padua (address
piazzale Boschetti - bus
terminal Sita) and then to
Venezia Piazzale Roma area.
If you need to reach Venice
downtown, you will have to
arrange your own transfer.
The scheduled guided tour in
Villa Pisani will be
anticipated during the
months of March and October,
depending on the opening
time of the museum. In case
of special events connected
to the National Museum, the
visit of Villa Pisani will
be replaced by a visit of
Villa Foscarini-Rossi.
This tour is operated in air conditioned vehicles.
