The Fattoria (Farm) Pratale has 2 buildings with 16 apartments in one building and 6 apartments in another.  Apartments can accommodate from 2 to 6 people.

When you see "+ 2" it means that in addition to the bedrooms another 2 people can be accommodated in the apartment in a roll-out, sofa bed or cot.

Location: near Tavarnelle in the Chianti Classico area
Directions:

Take the Milano-Roma A1 motorway and exit at Firenze-Certosa; continue along the Firenze-Siena highway and exit at Tavarnelle. At the stop turn right and then take the second street to your right. Follow the signs for Badia a Passignano and after 2 km. turn left at the sign for Fattoria Pratale.

From Florence Airport:
Take immediately right on the Highway and follow "ROMA" direction on A1 motor-way, and exit at "Firenze Certosa". Then follow the above-stated information.

From Pisa Airport:
Take the "FIRENZE" Direction,  for about 70 kmts. Exit following ROMA direction and take the A1 Motorway (Rome direction). After 5,5 Kmts exit at "Firenze Certosa". Follow the above-stated information.

Description


The Pratale farm estate receives its guests in two old manors, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan country-side, with vineyards sloping gently down to wild shrubs, pines and cypress-trees.

The building has been completely restored and it is now divided into several independent apartments, all of which have a separate entrance and an open place in order to enjoy the quietness and the view of the landscape.

Apartments are provided with central heating for wintertime and with all the facilities of modern comfort, yet maintaining by furnishing and style the spirit of typical tuscan country-houses. At the Fattoria guests can find a bowling lane, 2  swimming pools both for children and adults, a  Laundromat, a pay-phone, mountain bikes and TV-sets.

From Pratale, located on the hills near Florence and only fifteen minutes away from the city, many excursions can be made to the innumerable places of cultural and touristic interest; since the estate is not to far away from the highway Florence-Siena.

In the village of Sambuca, 3 km away from Pratale, are shops, art & craft studios and inns. In close proximity lies the ancient abbey of Badia a Passignano, worth seeing its cloister and crypt, dating back to the year 1000.

The housekeepers are always in villa and can help you for any needs.
