This modern, well appointed villa is located in the north west corner of Tuscany, by the village of Peralta and the larger town of Camaiore and Lido Camaiore. It is secluded and private, but a great place from which to do day trips to Pisa, Lucca, Carrara (where Michaelangelo got his marble) and a good base camp for explorations of the art cities of Florence and Siena. It is also less than one hour's drive from the the Cinque Terre area of Liguria.
It is quiet, and the scent of lemon, jasmine and purple bougainvillea waft through the air. The pool is set into a unique rock enclosure, and the views are of the rolling foothills of the Apuan Alps, and the forests of a small national park. It is high enough off the plain to be cooler in the summer than other areas.
The village of Peralta is a bit off the beaten track so it is not heavily touristed, giving visitors a chance to kick-back with Italians in a more natural environment.
