General
Cagnano di Sopra is a very
large stone farm building
which has been converted
into four apartments,
sharing a most congenial
atmosphere. In typical
Tuscan style, all
accommodation is on the
first floor. The rooms are
airy with high ceilings and
are furnished simply but
comfortably, and there are
lovely, covered terraces to
eat out on.
Location
The grounds are extensive
and a spacious garden houses
the stone, terraced swimming
pool. There are very fine
views from here. Pathways
lead to gentle strolls in
the surrounding countryside
and there are olive groves
and vineyards below.
Florence, Siena and San
Gimignano can all be reached
by car in less than one hour
whilst Castellina in
Chianti, for shopping, is
only a few minutes driving
distance. Throughout the
area there are hilltop
villages and many good
restaurants.
Layout
First floor entrance into
sitting/dining room with
double convertible sofa bed
and open fireplace. One twin
bedded room. Tiled shower
room with WC etc. Small
kitchen area with two gas
rings, oven and fridge.
There is a final cleaning
charge of Euro 11 per person
payable locally.
