On the very edge of a tiny, characteristic, 10th century hamlet, Cottage Annarosa has a lovely garden which slopes down through an orchard. There is a furnished pergola and it has a marvellous vista which reaches Siena on a clear day.

Location
This is an excellent area for walking and cycling. The accommodation is compact and comfortable. Guests staying longer than a week can also have the use of her washing machine. Within a 1 km walk is the village of Iesa with a grocery for immediate needs and a restaurant. The larger town of Monticiano is 13 kms and Siena is 30 kms. Good swimming is available within 6 kms in the thermal waters of the River Farma where temperatures reach 37 degrees and where there is also a health farm offering massages and cures.
