These 18th century farm
buildings have been
wonderfully restored and
offer excellent, comfortable
holiday accommodation. Each
building houses two
apartments and there is also
an independent cottage. Well
spaced out in the grounds,
the maximum walking time to
the swimming pool garden is
three minutes. Quality
garden furniture is shaded
by trees in part and open to
sunshine in others
Location
The gardens are stunning.
There are walls clothed in
jasmine, roses, honeysuckle
and a small forest of
eucalyptus, pine and cypress
trees. Indoor table tennis
is available at the main
Fattoria building. The
interiors have been designed
with excellent taste and are
both attractive and
efficient. The owners are
very helpful, welcoming
hosts and visitors return
time and time again. The
finest golf course in the
region at Punta Ala is
within a half hour drive.
For good sea bathing the
coast can be reached in 20
minutes. Ribolla village is
4 kms from Casavecchia for
shopping and horse riding is
available nearby.
Casavecchia is conveniently
situated between Siena and
Grosseto giving the
opportunity to explore the
Etruscan settlements.
Journeying eastwards through
beautiful countryside
towards Siena there are many
fascinating and historical
towns.
