Wait, do linger awhile on
this page! Because this
villa is more attainably
affordable than first
appears. We don’t like to
use the term ’luxury’ but,
if ever there were a house
that could aspire to that
term, this would be it -
indeed sumptuous. People may
think it could only be the
preserve of film stars, and
yet, for a party of people
coming together for a
special occasion, family
celebration, or just for
friends wishing to enjoy the
’high life’, our prices pass
with flying colours!
Especially so because this
villa is both excellently
positioned and offers an
enviable standard of
accommodation: skilfully
restored originally, as a 4
star relais-hotel, this
ex-country residence sits
higher, in 4 acres of
manicured park, than the
surrounding Valdichiana
flatlands. This allows
guests classic 360° views
over patchwork green and
gold countryside to the
nearby towns of Foiano della
Chiana and Cortona. The
ceilings are either
typically Tuscan
widely-corrugated brickwork
or chestnut beams, both
giving a cosy feel to every
room. Tapestries and wall
paintings abound while
tastefully flowing curtains
adorn almost every window.
There’s even a lift! Some
bedrooms are a suite, with
sitting room whilist all
bedrooms have en-suite
shower or bathroom, each
bath with jacuzzi, needless
to say. There are two pools,
one is outside. The other is
heated and indoor with
built-in whirlpool and a
sauna (Euro 300 supplement
per week payable locally) -
this is not just a summer
retreat!
Location
Florence, Arezzo, Siena and
Montepulciano in Tuscany and
Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and
Lake Trasimeno in next-door
Umbria are all with an
hour’s drive. Castiglion
Fiorentino, as the nearest
big town, is 10 kilometres
and our villa’s electric
gates are just off the road
that leads there. Short
driveway and ample parking.
The 4 acre grounds are
illuminated, mainly laid to
lawn with olive trees and
shrubs, and totally fenced
in. The outside swimming
pool (12 x 6 m) is furnished
with loungers and a gazebo.

etc., is the indoor pool,
complete with
wall-paintings, sauna and
built-in whirlpool, doors
out to grounds. Stairs or
lift to first floor. Three
spacious suites and four
double bedded rooms, all
beautifully furnished with
satellite TV and en-suite,
four with shower, Wc
etc.,the remaining three
with jacuzzi bath, WC etc.
Steps up to second floor and
a low-ceilinged carpeted
double bedded room with
shower room, WC etc.

cleaning charge of Euro
20,00 per person with a
minimum charge of Euro
200,00.
