General
The farmhouses have been
lovingly restored and retain
their authentic charm having
wooden beams and terracotta
floors. The furnishings of
the spacious rooms are a
harmonious blend of antiques
and modern classics.
Location
Each apartment has its own
al fresco dining terrace,
safe deposit box, satellite
tv, and mosquito screens on
all windows. English is
spoken by the dedicated
owners, who have installed a
laundry room, with washing
machine and tumble dryer,
for guests, at no extra
cost.
Villa Gabriella is ideally
located just 500 meters from
the Chianti wine route and
three kilometers from quaint
Castellina in Chianti.
Florence to the north and
Siena to the south are
reached in less than one
hour drive.
Relaxing excursions can be
made within the region to
all the medieval towns and
villages during the day, and
returning to the comfort of
Villa Gabriella is like
going home.
Layout
(128m2) Entrance Floor:
Front steps lead to the
entrance, which opens into a
-wonderful vine clad living
room with a large open
fireplace. Adjacent to this
room are two double bedrooms
with king size beds, one of
which can be made into
single beds upon request.
Between the two bedrooms is
a bathroom with shower, sink
and WC. Upper Floor: A
staircase leads up to a
small, but functional
kitchen with a cooking hob,
oven and fridge. Lower
floor: From the entrance
floor and down a few stairs
there is a dining room and a
small study with pull out
couch, and an adjacent
bathroom with a shower, sink
and WC. Bottom floor: A
staircase in the study leads
downstairs to a twin-bedded
room (can be made into a
king-size bed upon request).
Adjacent to the bedroom is a
small kitchen. Both rooms
have large wrought iron
doors which lead to a
beautiful rock-clad private
outdoor dining terrace.
