Surrounding the hilltop
village of Panzano in
Chianti is some of the most
sensational Chianti Classico
countryside. Villa Gemma
enjoys a prime position on a
hillside with magnificent
views from the windows,
terraces and swimming pool.
Built into the hillside on
two floors, it has entrances
all opening into the
grounds, and offers great
privacy.
Location
A wonderful swimming pool is
situated on a level higher
than the house and Villa
Gemma even boasts its own
private woodlands. The
kitchen leads onto a
balconied, furnished terrace
which has an open corner
fireplace - good for
barbecues - and from where
guests can relish the
stunning panorama. All rooms
are furnished with antiques
and old relics and for this
reason the eminent artist
owner has requested that all
children must be over 10
years of age. Please note
that the owner requires that
current internal furnishings
be maintained. Some clients
may therefore regard parts
of this property’s interior
as being somewhat dated and
worn. The maximum rental
period is two weeks. Panzano
in Chianti is a five minute
drive for all immediate
provisions, whilst Greve in
Chianti is a 10 minute drive
in the other direction and
offers a selection of shops,
bars and restaurants. In the
centre of this rich Chianti
region, Florence is to the
north and Siena is to the
south, both of which can be
reached by car in
approximately 45 minutes.

Large, stone walled, country
style kitchen with open
fireplace, cooker, oven and
fridge, leading onto a large
furnished terrace. Dining
room with arch divider to
sitting room having open
fireplace and doors to
another terrace. First
floor: Small furnished
landing/sitting room with
open fireplace and doors
onto ground level. One
double bedded room with en
suite bathroom. One twin and
one double bedded room
sharing a spacious balcony.
Two further tiled bathrooms
with WCs etc. Study room.
Outside is a large, covered
and furnished terrace
complete with barbecue.
A pool cleaning charge of
Euros 52 is payable locally.
