General
Just 6kms southwest of the
beautiful, medieval city of
San Gimignano, Villa Lecci
is encircled by enormous
lawns. Behind these is its
own 2000 sq. mt., woodland.
The villa, garden and the
woods are entirely fenced.
Location
The villa is pleasant and
comfortable. Only 40 mts of
unasphalted road lead to the
entrance which is through
lockable, wrought iron gates
with a good gravel car park
inside. The 10 x 6 mt.
swimming pool is placed a
little way from the villa
and does not have a shallow
end. Known as the city of
beautiful towers, San
Gimignano has been very well
preserved although only 14
of the 76 original towers
still exist. Windowless,
they served as private
fortresses to the feuding,
medieval families and the
height was a symbol of their
wealth. It contains an
absolute store of art and
history and during the
summer there are open-air
concerts and operas in the
central piazza creating a
magical atmosphere.

with washing machine. The
kitchen/breakfast room has
cooker, oven, fridge/freezer
and a door leading outside.
Sitting/dining room divided
by a Tuscan arch with raised
fireplace and having doors
onto a furnished terrace. On
the first floor is a
spacious bathroom with WC.,
etc., and a double sink
unit. Adjacent to this are
two double bedded rooms. A
further double bedded room
with en suite shower room,
WC etc., and doors leading
onto a covered terrace at
ground level.
