There is nothing like a day or two immersed in the stunning wine
country of Tuscany where you will see incredible landscapes and visit amazing
towns with two thousand year old histories. During your tour you will
savour the most famous products - the wine and olive oils - produced in Tuscan
and you will enjoy the immense hospitality of the Tuscan people.
Our guide, Angela
Saltafuori, who speaks Italian and English molto bene, will show you the
great Chianti Classico wine district between Siena and Florence in style.

During the half day tour you will visit three wineries
and a beautiful medieval castle. You will learn a
lot about the production of wine from harvest to
shipment, but best of all you will enjoy tasting a
selection of wines, Vin Santo and Grappa.
We'll also let you sample a selection of the best Tuscan
olive oils.

During the
morning we will visit a winery where we will enjoy a
number of Tuscan wines, Vin Santo and Grappa,
as well as a selection of fantastic Tuscan olive oils.
Afterwards, we'll venture into Castellina in the
Chianti wine district for lunch (not included in the
price of the tour) and a stroll through the center of
town where you can shop at local stores. We'll
visit two more wineries and cellars in the afternoon to
learn about wine production, and of course to sample
more great Tuscan wines. Our last stop will be at
a wonderful old medieval castle in the heart of Tuscany.

The
first day of this two day tour is exactly the same as
the "one day" tour. On the second day you will
visit another winery where you will be able to sample
the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine, as well
as a Rossi and an IGT Super Tuscan.
For lunch (not included in the price) we'll visit the
historic and delightful town of
Montalcino.
During the afternoon, we will visit another winery and
its cellars and savour another great Brunello wine.
Our last stop will be at an abbey where we will hear
vespers being chanted by Gregorian monks...a fabulous
way to end the day. |
