| Description |
The Castel d'Arno is located in the rolling countryside near Valfabbrica, which is close to the religious center of Assisi, and the cultural center of Perugia. Other famous Umbrian towns and cities, like Gubbio, Spello, Montefalco and Spoleto are an easy drive away. The owners, Signor Sergio Demofonte and his wife, have created 5 wonderful self-contained apartments in a small medieval castle that they have been painstakingly restoring. With great views of the Umbrian countryside, the Castel d'Arno invites guests to enjoy the estate's terraces and gardens, and starting in 2007, a swimming pool and deck. The Castel d'Arno is a great place to use as a base for excursions, or for walking, hiking, trekking, mountain biking and other outdoor recreation.
